PLEASE CONSIDER

Please consider:
In walking your final steps in Washington D.C. to make your last steps in PEACE.

Please consider:
In walking in PEACE, we will truly be honoring all those who have gone before us and all those who will come after us.

Please consider:
That we are now what the Hopi Prophecy says in the Fifth World- A World of PEACE.

Please consider:
That now we embrace this Fifth World by putting our Weapons of Rage, Pain, Jealousy and Revenge down.

Please consider:
In putting our Weapons down we have Faith that the Land will be returned to us but only in PEACE.

Please consider:
If the Land is returned to us. The Spirit World will provide the Protection of our Mother and Her Sacred Places. They said that if we Embrace PEACE, generations upon generations will be quaranteed PEACE as it was in the Beginning.

Please consider:
That our Mother is a Woman. In Honoring her, we Honor ALL women.
(also Honor the Women walking beside you)

Please consider:
The wishes of the Spirit World that recently in Yellowstone, a massive Volcanic explotion was averted because of the Prayers of PEACE spoken by human beings in Ceremony.

Please consider:
That the LONGEST WALK 2 is our Continuos Ceremony as the Sun Rises and Falls and throughout the time of the Spirit World when our Grandmother shines Her Light.

Please consider:
Remember when we are in Ceremony our Traditions say not to walk in anger.

Please consider:
The flags you carry have a voice of thier own that can Change the World.

Please consider:
That once you hear that voice it will speak to the very Heart of you so you may Help them bring thier voice to the Rest of the World.

Please consider:
If the World Hears thier Voice, as First Nations we all can Walk Our of the Darkness of the last 500 years into the Light of the Fifth World.

Please consider:
It is possible to protest but when we do it is done in PEACE our Quiet Way will still the World to Listen. More than loud angry Worlds or deeds.

With one Final Consideration:
As one woman Living here at the Western Door, I Honor you with the Hope that your final steps be done in the Light of PEACE as we all walk into the Light of Balance, PEACE, and Forgiveness. Walk in the beauty world.

True and lasting Justice can only be found in PEACE.

Friends of the Earth

My wife and I, who live just outside Washington DC and work for the federal government, joined the walk yesterday at Capitol Hill to hear the words of the Manifesto presented to Congressman John Conyers. We walked with the people to the Vietnam Memorial and back to the tipis on the Washington Monument grounds. We stayed until the closing songs had been sung, as a majestic cloud provided shade and a cool breeze provided some break from the heat. After the song ended, people stayed around the drum in silence. For a moment, time was suspended and all there was on earth was the sun, the clouds, the wind, the earth and the people. All people are indignous, my own from Wales, my wife's from Italy and Hungary but we all lived on and with the earth for at least part of our history. Much has been forgotten by the people of the earth, but yesterday, for a time, a mystical moment frozen in time, we remembered and the color of our skin was human.

We thank all we met, we tribe of two.

Wonderful

I was at Occoneechee State Park, working for three weeks to improve and beautify it, when The Longest Walk Members showed up.

I was amazed at everybody there, How Proud they were of their Heritage! I was also startled at the compliments we got for helping the park. It was a wonderful experience meeting everybody there.

As we worked more on the trails after everybody had left, I thought of what we had been told, about the Nature around us. For the rest of the days, I worked harder..picking up the trash, cleaning off the trails..so other people could enjoy the wonders of the land.

I will always remember those words, and those thoughts. Thank you, Longest Walk..and Good Luck, Maybe one day when I'm older I'll be able to join you.
