Tuesday, March 4th- Joshua Tree to Needles E-mail
We had a fairly short walk today (for us) – only about 13 miles – from our campground at Joshua Tree until our drop point where we were picked up and shuttled nearly two hours to a city park in Needles, California. Once again, our runner deserve heavy praise for covering all those miles for us!! Probably the highlight of the day (other than watching Wounded, Henry and Jun-san dance to Mo-town at 7am) was a visit by the Council of Grandmothers from Landers, CA
