A Few Questions and Thoughts |

I want to be a part of this walk. I probably can't make the many miles per day. But I want to help and volunteer. I can do many things. I have a vehicle. It is a van and would be perfect to pick up people that need a break from walkinmg. I want to attempt to walk some and pick up trash. It says that if you bring a vehicle, you need another person to drive along with you. I am alone. How could this work out?
If I didn't bring a vehicle and volunteered in another way, would I have any opportunity to pick up trash and walk at all?
I had a vision many years ago that I went to places where people have trashed. I saw myself with trash bags and a stick grabber. I cleaned up pl;aces. My sole reason to travel was to go around to places and clean them up, anonymously. This journey may be an answer to this vision, a chance to do it.
Would the vehicles just follow the procession of walkers?
My van could also be used to carry supplies and/or other peoples gear. I couild haul a small trailer filled with gear and use the roof rack. I am assuming the speed of travel will be slow, am I correct? or will vehicles go ahead to set up rest areas and end of day stations for feeding etc?
Thank you. I am excited about this and want to help.

I would fill out the volunteer registration form and offer to bring your van and trailer. It would be a great help to the walk. There are other volunteers that are coming on the walk that do not have vehicles. We will put you in touch with some of them, maybe they would be willing to drive on days that you would like to walk.
You would be a great help on this walk and you have a really great dream of cleaning the land. Please register now and we will add that in to the planning of this walk.
